After the tour, you'll have the evening to yourself in Salzburg or can choose to participate in an optional excursion.

Vienna | 2 nights

Today, you'll head eastward through the picturesque Danube basin on your way to Vienna. 

 

  • Along the way, you'll make a stop in Melk for a guided tour of the town's magnificent Baroque abbey, perched on a rock overlooking the Danube River. 
  • During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to explore the abbey's Baroque pavilion, library, and chapel.
  • Afterward, you'll continue your journey to Vienna, where you'll make a photo stop at Schönbrunn Palace, a stunning Rococo residence once inhabited by the Hapsburgs. 

 

You'll then have the evening to explore Vienna at your leisure or opt for an optional excursion.

 

Please note: Depending on the day of the week, the photo stop at Schönbrunn Palace may be replaced with an entrance visit to the palace on day 8.
