Your Iceland tour commences at 2:00 PM, followed by a guided city tour that introduces you to the vibrant capital of Reykjavik. Afterward, enjoy some free time for individual exploration before reuniting with your fellow travelers for a welcome drink.
Embark on a journey through Iceland's breathtaking countryside. Your first stop is Hvalfjordur Fjord, known for its significance during World War II when it housed US and British Naval bases. Following this, gain insight into Icelandic farm life with a visit to Bjarteyarsandur. The tour continues with a visit to the War and Peace Museum to delve into the history of the allied occupation of Iceland during World War II.  Enjoy some free time and an independent lunch in Borgarnes before heading to the Deildartunguhver hot spring, the most powerful in Iceland. Explore the Barnafossar (Children's Falls) and Hraunfossar (Lava Falls) before checking in at your Reykholt hotel, an area steeped in historical significance from early settlement times, often chronicled in Icelandic sagas.
Embark on a journey to the renowned Skagafjordur valley, an expansive, fertile landscape tended by Iceland's earliest settlers. Explore the Glaumbaer Farm & Museum, where you'll encounter turf-roofed houses and gain insight into the lives of these early settlers; your lunch will be served here. Continue your adventure with a brief stop in the city of Akureyri, Iceland's largest urban center outside of the southwest region. Later, marvel at the breathtaking Godafoss waterfall. Your overnight stay is in Husavik, a town made famous in the Will Farrell comedy, "The Story of Fire Saga."
Commence your exploration of the Diamond Circle with a visit to the enchanting surroundings of Lake Myvatn, an otherworldly terrain adorned with pseudovolcanoes, thermal pools, and geothermal power stations. Pause at Reykjahlid church and learn about its encirclement by lava in 1727. Next, immerse yourself in the captivating Hverir sulfur springs before embarking on a short hike in Dimmuborgir. Break for lunch and take time to discover the intriguing pseudocraters of Skutustadagigar. Return to Husavik, renowned as Iceland's prime whale-watching hub, and enjoy some leisure time for independent exploration. Explore the village, consider booking a cruise, or perhaps indulge in a visit to the nearby GeoSea Spa.
Continue your excursion along the captivating Diamond Circle, with an initial stop at Asbyrgi Canyon Visitor Center, before proceeding to the breathtaking Dettifoss waterfall, recognized as one of Europe's mightiest. Traverse through the wilderness, making your way to Modrudalur, the highest operational farm in Iceland. Savor lunch and take the opportunity to explore some of the ancient turf houses in the vicinity. Visit Vok Baths to partake in the timeless tradition of bathing in natural geothermal waters and relaxing in hot tubs set against the backdrop of a stunning lake. Conclude the day as you travel to your hotel in Faskrudsfjordur, an intriguing village located in the Eastfjords, once frequented by French fishermen.
Proceed to Petra's Stone Museum, a charming and unconventional attraction, before making your way to Djupivogur, a picturesque coastal village known for its artistic community. Enjoy some leisure time to explore the area's unique offerings. Continue your journey to the Vestrahorn Viking Village, a captivating abandoned film set nestled at the base of a stunning mountain. Afterward, take advantage of free time in Hofn, a quaint fishing town, before reaching your hotel where you'll gather with your group for dinner.
Journey to the captivating Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon on your Iceland tour, adorned with shimmering, crystal-blue icebergs, and continue to the nearby Diamond Beach, where the gleaming, natural ice sculptures grace the black sands. Enjoy a picturesque lunch with scenic views of the surrounding countryside at the Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon. Explore the traditional turf church in Hof, and then proceed to the Skaftafell Wilderness Area to witness its natural wonders, including glaciers, waterfalls, a snow-capped volcano, and expansive lava fields.
Explore the enchanting Reynisfjara's black sand beach and its captivating rock formations while uncovering the legends from its history. Continue your journey to the nearby Skogafoss Waterfall, where sunny days often grace the scene with a double rainbow. Travel to the stunning Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, where, weather permitting, the adventurous can stroll along the trail that leads behind the impressive 60-meter falls. Then, delight in a demonstration of the distinctive Icelandic horse at the Eldhestar Horse Farm. These Icelandic horses are direct descendants of those brought by the Vikings and are celebrated for their surefootedness and unique gait known as the "tolt." Conclude your day as you head to your Reykjavik hotel for a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers.

Your Iceland tour ends after breakfast.
